Harvest Time for Melissa and Lavender!

The melissa crop is being harvested in Idaho right now. The seeds that came from France so many years ago now create the amazing Melissa essential oil that people treasure. Organically grown and distilled at our St. Maries, Idaho, farm, this year’s harvest will provide Young Living members with a bumper crop!

Lavender will also be harvested at the St. Maries farm and at the Mona, Utah, farm as well. The distilleries at both farms will be going late into the night.

It thrills us to think that the lavender seeds I carried home so many years ago were the start of Young Living’s lavender production in two states and that now seeds from the St. Maries lavender were taken to France to reseed fields in Provence that were decimated by drought and virus.

Right now, the St. Maries farm is busy harvesting the thriving melissa plants that will be distilled to produce Young Living’s pure, genuine, therapeutic-grade Melissa essential oil that will be shipped around the world.

Shortly after the “Run Through the Lavender” 5K race, the purple fields of Mona, Utah, and St. Maries, Idaho, will be harvested and distilled to produce pure, genuine, therapeutic-grade Lavender essential oil that will be shipped around the world!
