Transform Your Skin with Sandalwood

Gary and Mary Young
Take a close look at Mary Young’s beautiful skin! What a testimonial for sandalwood essential oil!

Another oil in Transformation that’s so powerful is sandalwood, which is really beautiful on the skin. I’m going to let Mary tell you about sandalwood because she uses it almost every single day.

MARY: I absolutely love sandalwood; I think it’s one of the most beautiful feeling oils on the skin. It has just the right texture—not too thin and not too thick—and I’ve been using it for years.

I can remember back in 1992 or ’93 before Gary and I were married. I was in my condo looking at the oils on the counter and wondered what it would be like to put oils on my skin, so I just started doing it and never stopped.

I don’t use only sandalwood, I also use other oils that are similar in viscosity. However, I have found that the oils have natural alcohol, which can be drying to the skin, and so I always put Boswellia Wrinkle Cream or A·R∙T or one of the creams that we have on top of the oil and have found it to be a perfect combination for my skin.

Sandalwood is an absolutely beautiful, beautiful oil in the way it makes you feel, and I just can’t even imagine being without it. Just start experimenting. Try one oil and see how it feels; if you don’t like it, try another one. You might find 5, 10, 15 oils that you like on your skin.

I also love patchouli and myrrh, although Gary says myrrh smells like a dirty sock, and he always says, “Don’t wear it at night.”  But I love the feel of it on my skin; it’s wonderful. Just have fun and experiment using the oils and see which ones you like best.

GARY: Thank you, sweetheart. Of course I’m the benefactor; I get to touch and hold and kiss the beautiful skin that she puts those oils on every day. It’s wonderful. All you guys who are listening: Wow! If you didn’t give your wife sandalwood for Christmas, make that the next special gift.

  1. I would like to see comments that promote the BENEFITS of specific oils – not just “how they feel” onthe skin. I believe people would want to know why it works. It is very important for prospective customers and distributors to understand the BENEFITS of the oils we promote – to better educate them on their need for the same. For example – The reason Sandalwood is so ‘nice on the skin,’ for example is due to the anti-spasmodic, astrigent, and Cicatrisant attritributes of this oil.

  2. The benefits of Sandalwood as an essential oil should be emphasised – not just for ‘how they feel on the skin’ Sandalwood has astrigent, anti-spasmodic and cicatrisant properties – and That is WHY it works !

  3. I wanted to confirm that sandalwood is amazing on my face. I turned 47 today and have been using it every night. People usually think I am about 30 years old. My skin has responded so beautifully and I love everything about it. I have used frankincense and myrrh on my face as well, but sandalwood is my favorite!
