Essentialzyme’s Powerful Ingredients

Gary loves to teach about enzymes because they are so vital to good health.

One of the things that you will see in Essentialzyme™ is carrot powder.

Why did I include carrot powder? Because I want the body to recognize the natural form of enzymes. It’s important to know that carrots contain the highest level of natural plant enzymes in the entire plant kingdom.

Remember, enzymes need minerals to perform their functions. Minerals are called “cofactors” because without them, enzymes would just sit around and do nothing. So it is vital that you supply your body with a variety of minerals.

If you look on the Essentialzyme label, you will see two ingredients called alfalfa leaf and sprout powders. Alfalfa is one of the most important ingredients we have included for a full range of essential minerals that harmonize and complement the enzymes in the carrot powder and the other enzymes that we have put with it. These enzymes include pancreatin, pancrelipase, trypsin, bromelain, and papain–all these ingredients are great because they work together.

Another reason why I included carrot and alfalfa is that I want your body to recognize Essentialzyme as a food so that your body does not become dependent on Essentialzyme to do the body’s action but will utilize Essentialzyme as food by breaking it down and putting the excess enzymes into your enzyme storage account to be drawn on it later, if needed.

What can enzymes do? They can clean up plaque and eliminate old fat and proteins left deposited for years. Enzymes enhance circulation and support the immune system by improving and increasing the surface area of the red blood cell, allowing it to transport more oxygen.

In addition, enzymes support weight regulation. Whoever thought of such a thing? For instance, overweight people may be lacking in lipase. In Essentialzymes-4™, you get lipase, and in Essentialzyme, you get pancrelipase (which is a form of pancreatin that has an elevated content of lipase).

  1. Nicole,
Take both! Dr. Gary Young has recommended taking Essentialzyme in between meals & Essentialzyme 4 with meals. In addition to the above enzyme supplements, ake Allerzyme if you suffer from allergies. Take Detoxzyme if you want to enhance cleansing. Detoxzyme also is recommended if you have allergies.

  2. I’m wondering the same thing. Also, is it something we should take continuously, or on and off?

  3. I appreciate all the wonderful whole food and essential oil ingredients in these products but why the additional rice bran or rice flour? These are just filler and not necessary ingredients. Because of these I cannot recommend these products to any of my GAPS clients. This is not an issue for someone with a healthy digestive tract, but then if the digestive tract is healthy there is not such an urgent need for enzymes!

  4. I appreciate all the whole food and essential oil ingredients in the Young Living enzyme products but why the addition of rice bran or rice flour? Because of these ingredients I cannot recommend the products to any of my GAPS clients nor use them myself until my digestive system is healed further. A healthy digestive tract can process the grains fine, but then a healthy digestive track doesn’t have the urgent need for enzymes. A bit of a contradiction.

  5. I too would like to know where and how to get started. Can someone contact me as I’m just beginning my journey. Also, does Young Living give courses to understand Aromatherapy and its many healing uses? Would like to talk to someone about all of this. Anita Kulp

  6. Anita, try visiting http://IshaHealing.com to learn more about aromatherapy and an excellent certification course on the subject. The Institute for Spiritual Healing and Aromatherapy run by Linda Smith, R.N., is probably the most respected center for aromatherapy and is open to all, young living distributors and others included. Linda is a Silver in young living. I took the first two courses towards my certification and have since been consumed with care of my mother and haven’t completed the 3rd and final intensive weekend course. It’s a very rigorous course. The Institute also offers Healing Touch training, some of which is shared in the aromatherapy course. Happy aromatherapy learning! 7. thank you Dr. Chase..very helpful but how long does a person want to do all this for. Is it just in the beginning to build up our tank of enzymes or ongoing.
